Q: Aren't you just another affiliate link site? All of the products you list are hyperlinked with affiliate links.

A: Absolutely not. Real affiliate link websites would never allow real user reveiws on their website. Real reviews bring the high likelihood of a negative response. This would devalue the product and lead to a lower click through rate, and hence, less income on both ends. Yes, we have all of our products linked via affiliate links. But we are running the risk of having more than half (we bet) of these products to rank poorly. And we do so in the most honest of ways. Now if a product ranks highly, of course we want the credit! How else do you think we can pay for this website?

If you don't see any reviews on a product it is because none have been left. We posted over 200 of the top selling digital products to get the ball rolling. We hope that some people will have purchased them in the past and want to leave reveiws on them. If not, it is up to you to submit products which you HAVE purchased and then leave reviews on them. The products you submit don't have to have affiliate programs either, they just must be digital in nature.

Q: How do you prevent the owners of these ebooks and software programs from signing up and leaving fake reviews on their own stuff?

A: To be honest, we can't prevent them from leaving one review in their own name. Every person is entitled to hold one account. Each account can only leave one review per item. No one is able to make more than one review per item. On top of this, the ip address of the user is logged. If the user tries to create a second account with the same IP address, we will see it. It will be brought to our attention and both accounts could be suspended. We also have to approve each review as it comes through for editorial purposes. If we begin to see a rash of similar reviews for one product, an investigation will ensue. So as you can see, we have a multitude of security measures in place to prevent fraudulent reviews.

We want this website to be used by consumers. We want people to be able to give real user reviews on these items because right now, there is no place to find them! And most of all, we want people to be able to trust this website and value its content.

Q: I don't see any reviews for the ebook I am thinking of buying. I really want it and it says that the price will go up after today, so I think I should, but I am still worried about buying things online.

A: The first thing you should know is that the price is NOT going to go up after today. This is a marketing scheme which works very well, obviously. It will not go up tomorrow, or the next day or next week. Check back tomorrow, it will say the same exact thing EVEN if it lists the date. The date automatically changes to the next day. Another marketing ploy will be to tell the reader that the web page will go offline in a matter of days because the information is that super secret. It is hysterical! No, the web page will not be going off line, there are too many affiliates linking to it. So don't worry you have all the time in the world.

As far as making the purchase goes, it is all up to you. I just encourage you to come back and write a review on the ebook if you do end up getting it.

Q: DownloadReviews.Org is great but it isn't exactly the kind of review site I was looking for. I need to make and find reviews on some different kinds of products other than digital. Are there any reputable sites out there?
